Commentary

I wish I had heard about this contest earlier…sounds exactly like the kind of topic I could really get excited about. O well

You could always write a Post for that same issue of Oregon Humanities magazine (on the theme of work).
This link will take you to our writers guidelines and the call for submissions: http://bit.ly/94HpC7

Submit your piece by June 21!

Is there a place on this website where some of these essays can be read. What a great topic, I would realy like to see some of the entries…

Not yet, Mia, but we will be posting the winners/finalists when the Work issue of the magazine is published later this summer. I’ll send you a message when they’re online.

Hi,

I was wondering if the winners/finalists for the mind-changing essay contest have been listed yet? Is the summer magazine available now?

Thanks,
Larissa

Not yet, Larissa. We’ll be making an announcement/sending notification to the contest applicants soon, and the summer issue is currently in production.
